I have been enjoying getting to know the Venezuelan writer Milagros Socorro for the last few weeks. I have learned a few things from her. We are fortunate to have this International Writers Program here at the University of Iowa. We have a unique opportunity to get to know international writers, particularly some from Latinamerica! I am eager to read more books now.
